OW2, the international open-source community, is set to host its annual event, OW2con'24, on June 11-12, 2024, at the Orange Innovation Gardens site in Paris-Châtillon. This conference serves as a platform for developers, IT companies, academics, and non-profit organisations to convene and discuss various aspects of the open-source landscape.

Open Call for Presentations

OW2con'24 has issued a call for presentations, seeking proposals that contribute to technical skills, imagination, and professional development. The primary theme for this year's presentations is "Open Source Funding." The conference aims to explore existing solutions for financing development in the open-source domain, with a focus on innovators, start-ups, associations, and ISVs. Questions surrounding private and public financing, along with an evaluation of the alignment of national and European public policies with the challenges faced by the open-source community, will be addressed.

Interested individuals can submit proposals, preferably in English, until the deadline on February 25, 2024. Submissions can pertain to the theme of open source funding or any other topics outlined in the call for presentations form, available on the OW2con'24 website.
