The scope of this project is to transcribe automatically and machine translate parliamentary debates in real time and in 24 languages, including automated language recognition and an acceptable word error rate and latency. An integrated scanning and OCRizing system that is used to digitize the (continuous decreasing number of) paper documents received by CJEU. The main technology used for this is ABBYY.

A translation assistant system that uses the eTranslation system of the Commision as the neuronal machine translation service, Euramis as statistical translation DB, SDL Trados as the user client, and a number of internal scripts for different integrations. Covering most of the EU languages translation pairs.

Automatic detection of references (citations). Using NLP to detect referenced articles within juridical documents. Currently only in French.
