The European Commission’s Centre of Excellence in Project Management PM² (CoEPM²) is delighted to be part of the different course providers that offer free training to thousands of Europeans on the Interoperable Europe Academy, the online hub providing an engaging learning environment.
With over 3800 learners since the launch of the modules last year, it is encouraging to see the increasing uptake of the courses as proof of EU citizen's interest in learning about project management and agile practices.
Supported by the Digital Europe Programme, PM² is a project management methodology developed by the European Commission and available to everyone. The Project Management Methodology guide, as well as the PM²-Agile guide are available via the Publications Office of the European Union.
The aim of the PM² Essentials eLearning module is to provide learners with an overall understanding of the roles and responsibilities in project management, via video animations, action cards and short quizzes. The PM²-Agile Essentials module has been designed for anyone interested in learning and/or adopting Agile practices.
Alain Van Gaever, Head of Sector, European Commission said, “We are grateful to the Interoperable Europe Academy for providing us with an open eLearning platform that allows participants to gain access to a wide range of courses and to follow them at their own pace"
Marc Berghmans, PM² Ambassador, said: 'Being able to feature our content on the EU Academy means that we are a step closer to applying PM² practices to the public sector in Europe'
