Continuing on last year’s flow, the Semantic Interoperability Community (SEMIC) organises several workshops and webinars on various topics impacted by interoperability challenges in 2024. Are you curious about the planning for the coming month? You can check out the upcoming events on the SEMIC Support Centre.
Interested in what is happening in January? Be sure to note down the webinar date and have a look at some recently published articles.
To ensure a fresh start of the year, SEMIC has scheduled a webinar on the 16th of January from 14:00 until 16:00, dedicated to the remaining issues on DCAT-AP. Next to this, the final alignment on DCAT 3.0 will be discussed. You are invited to provide input for the discussion on Github. More information about this first activity of the year can be found on this page.
At the end of 2023, The SEMIC team published an article around the recently released SEMIC Style Guide. This Blog post is called “Application Profiles: What are they and how to model and reuse them properly? A look through the DCAT-AP example”. This blog article describes some of the problems encountered in the modelling of APs, references the relevant parts of the Style Guide, and proposes some alternative modelling approaches. For sure worth taking a look!
Going further on that flow, the SEMIC team kicks off the new year with a description of an inspirational Slovakian Success Story. Following the minister’s explanation, this article describes how Slovakia perfectly used the power of knowledge graphs using SEMIC Core Vocabularies. Have a look, get inspired and become the next reference success story!
